On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the GWS 21 Seacat power room between 60½ and 62 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking to port and aft showing the Westinghouse rectifier for the director, a cupboard and three junction boxes against the port bulkhead. The cover panel to an electronic unit is open revealing a mass of electrical connections. A 333~/400~ motor generator is on the deck and to the left of it is a screen with two fire extinguishers and a transformer unit against it.
