On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the GWS 21 Seacat power room between 60½ and 62 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking to starboard and aft showing the power supply board for the director, a GWS 21 change over switch power supply unit, an amplifier and an emergency supply connection box against the starboard bulkhead. A motor generator for the type 262 radar is on the deck and two fire extinguishers and a transformer are against the centre screen.
