The photographer is in the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on the centreline of 1 deck looking aft from 62 station on the port side showing the Paxman diesel generator on the right. A fire extinguisher, gauges, valves, a small workbench equipped with a vice and an acoustic booth are against the starboard bulkhead. A cable hanger, an automatic emergency lantern, a fire hose basket and a small starter panel are against the aft bulkhead.
