On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the air electrical maintenance compartment between 69 and 72 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking forward from the doorway showing a workbench with drawers under and shelves above against the port bulkhead. A small key cabinet, coat hooks, a loudspeaker and a clock are against the forward bulkhead. On the starboard side is a bench with an air conditioning unit under the deckhead. A board containing security and duplicate keys is propped up on the bench.
