On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the helicopter hangar between 72 and 75 stations on 1 deck looking forward and to port from the centreline at 74 station showing the lift hoisting gear and chain, a stretcher on a ventilation trunk, part of the aircraft fuelling system, a 'Zwick' defuelling pump, two starters and a contactor panel against the forward bulkhead. Two Pyrene fire extinguishers and stowage facilites for two spare wheels, two steering arms and a portable track are against the port bulkhead. Four packing cases are on the deck.
