The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 47 and 49 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking aft and to port showing the gyro compass circuits battery cubicle, a compass retransmission unit and two types of terminal units against the aft bulkhead. Against the port bulkhead are the static frequency changer, electrical interference suppressor unit, power distribution panel, a spark suppression unit and a cupboard and drawer unit.
