The photographer is in the spare engine and deck store between 67½ and 68½ stations on the port side of 1 deck looking aft from the doorway showing an hoist rail fitted under the deckhead. Two lockers are against the aft bulkhead and the store is cluttered with hanks of rope, coils of steel wire, brooms, two mop buckets, four plastic buckets, scrubbing brushes, a fender, a drum of Penetone and a tin of Dufay paint.
