On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the torpedo maintenance compartment between 74 and 75 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking to port showing a fire extinguisher, two reels of cable, a combination locked locker, a vacuum pump motor, torpedo fuzes cabinets, an air conditioning unit and the torpedo air bottle recharging panel against the aft bulkhead. A steel bench with drawers and cupboards under is in the corner with a clock reading 3.15 above it. Two nitrogen bottles are stowed against the port bulkhead. A large trolley and a roll of hose are against the forward bulkhead.
