The photographer is in the machinery control room between 59 and 61½ stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking aft and up into the starboard aft corner showing the engineer's log desk and a key cabinet on the left. Above the log desk on the starboard side are a dial telephone, a microphone, two loudspeakers and a telephone control box with three handsets. Against the aft bulkhead are a junction box, a rudder indicator and the machinery stateboard which has been filled in by the duty M.E.A.(P)/Mech Potter and dated 12.12.73. A wooden cabinet is on the right.
