The photographer is in the main communications office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward from 43½ station showing an automatic emergency lantern, two fire extinguishers and the M/F D/F bay No. 9 against the starboard bulkhead. Bay No. 9 is equipped with an M.C.O. control unit, a morse key, a telephone handset, an M.F. automatic direction finder and an Outfit FM 16 correction quadrantal box is above it. The general purpose bay equipped with a morse key, an M.C.O. control unit, a B40 CAY receiver and a B41 CAZ receiver is in the port forward corner against the forward bulkhead and the large control circuit exchange unit is next to it. A clock is reading 2.35. Against the ship's side is the machine crypto bay and a document shredder.
