The photographer is in the junior rates mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck looking to port from 82 station on the centreline into a recreation space showing a settee bench against the aft bulkhead and the ship's side with a cupboard built in to the corner. Two mess cupboards are in the left foreground with a teapot on one of them. A clock reading 09.32 is against the aft bulkhead. Sliding door cupboards are on the right and a mirror is fitted to the end of them. A vertical format negative.
