The photographer is in the junior rates mess between 67 and 73 stations on 3 deck looking forward and to starboard from the centreline at 70½ station showing the backs of a greatcoat cupboard and a stack of kit lockers and fixed to these backs are a letter rack, a mirror and two electric irons on the right. Ahead, against the backs of a row of kit lockers are coat hooks, suitcase racks and an ironing board. In the deck is the 27 inch water tight scuttle leading down to the plummer block compartment on 4 deck. A vertical format negative.
