The photographer is in the chief petty officer's mess between 67 and 73 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 69½ station on the starboard side showing triple tier bunk units on the left and coat hooks and a stack kit lockers on the right. The recreation space and bar is on the other side of the kit lockers. Two cupboards, an hinged table with a wire rack of crockery on it and a mirror are against the aft bulkhead.
