On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Tartar (1960) in Portsmouth Dockyard between November 1973 and April 1974 during a refit. The photographer is in the regulating office between 66 and 67 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port showing the settee berth, a nest of document shelves and a cupboard with a covered typewriter on it against the aft bulkhead.
