An automatic emergency lantern is next to the doorway. Against the forward bulkhead are a notice board, a K.P. Lau calendar for January and February 1974, a coat hanging space, a cleaning gear locker, a mess locker, kit locker number 17 and an electric iron. A long chain made from can ring pulls is hanging from the notice board. A circular escape scuttle is in the deck.
