The photographer is in the crew's galley and preparation space between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port from 49 station showing the cooking area and servery. Against the aft bulkhead are an hot cupboard, an automatic emergency lantern, the serving hatch to the C.P.Os and P.Os dining hall and the roasting oven control panel. On the right are a shallow fryer, a deep fryer and hot cupboards. A stainless steel dresser with shelves under is in the centre and dishes and trays of food are on it. A fire extinguisher is next to it. In the background is the servery withe the roller shutter closed and with food in the bain marie. The platter lowerator is in the port forward corner.
