On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Tartar (1960) in Portsmouth Dockyard between November 1973 and April 1974 during a refit. The photographer is in the electrical workshop between 46 and 47 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking aft and to port showing a cupboard with a large ventilation trunking and recirculating fan against the aft bulkhead. A duty roster on the back of the door is for week commencing 28 January 1974. Record 84 and Record 83 vices are on the work bench on the right. A vertical format negative.
