The photographer is in the enclosed bridge between 40 and 43½ stations on the centreline of 01 deck looking aft on the starboard side showing the closed starboard bridge wing door on the left. A cupboard, a microphone, a telephone handset, a loudspeaker, a control panel and a notice board are against the aft bulkhead. On the notice board are two copies of a chart of the British Isles, the English Channel, the North Sea and adjoining coastlines.
