The photographer is in the hydraulic pump space between 83 and 85 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a pump in the starboard forward corner and a tank against the forward bulkhead. Three valves on the tank are labelled 'pump A suction', 'pump B suction' and 'hand pump suction'. Pump B starter panel and a telephone handset are against the starboard bulkhead and two fire extinguishers are on the deck.
