A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the White Star Line cruise ship Megantic (1909) at anchor off Monte Carlo. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she is dressed overall. Her port quarter lifeboat is out of its falls and a small accommodation ladder is rigged at the shell doors aft. One of her lifeboats is alongside amidships. Smoke is being emitted from her funnel.
