The photographer is in the steering gear compartment between 85 and 95 stations on 2 deck looking to starboard and aft from 85½ station on the port side. The steering engine machinery is behind the wire mesh cage on the right and two starter panels are mounted on the face of the cage. Nests of small drawers are against the starboard side of the ship. A vertical format negative.
