The photographer is in the torpedo anti submarine (TAS) store and directing gear compartment between 16 and 27 stations on 4 deck looking forward and slightly to starboard from 26 station on the centreline showing a sonar (asdic) type 185 junction box 2 against the end of the hull outfit 19 (Type 170 sonar) hoisting and lowering gear. Against the ship's side are stowage shelves, a fresh water circulating pump, a steel ladder up to 3 deck and a pump starter panel. A vertical format negative.
