On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Tartar (1960) in Portsmouth Dockyard between November 1973 and April 1974 during a refit. The photographer in the GWS 21 Seacat power room between 60½ and 62 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to port from the door showing a CO² fire extinguisher fitted to the end of the central screen. A motor generator is on the deck with a starter panel above it. A power supply cabinet, two cupboards and two fire control junction boxes are against the port bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
