The photographer in the operations room between 42 and 45½ stations on 1 deck looking forward and to port from 43½ station showing a communications desk on the right against the forward bulkhead and above the desk are two voicepipes and two telephone handsets. Alongside the desk is a combination safe. In the port forward corner is the gun direction officer's target indicating unit Mk. 5 with gun direction circuits junction boxes against the bulkheads.
