HMS Vanguard as A/C proposal 1942

Scale 1/1250. A waterline model of the HMS Vanguard as A/C proposal 1942. A modification of the Tri-ang model number 741. It is realistically painted and depicts the vessel either at launch or during its career. It is made from a metal alloy which has been cast in a mould and is hollow on the underside of the hull. There are maker’s marks and insignia and the model number, the name or warship class, either cast in, scratched in or written on a paper label on the underside of the hull.
