On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Tartar (1960) in Portsmouth Dockyard between November 1973 and April 1974 during a refit. The photographer is in the transmitting station annexe between 45 and 50 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward from the port side at 48 station showing the maintenance console and gyro stabiliser on the right. The gyro air supply unit is on the left. Three junction boxes, a telephone handset, an automatic emergency lantern and a CO² fire extinguisher are against the inboard bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
