The photographer is in the sonar control room between 41 and 43 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to port from the starboard side at 41¾ station showing the senior man's chair on a dais in the centre. Consoles R, S and T are against the aft bulkhead. A pitometer log speed and distance register, a range and bearing unit, a Plessey Sippican unit, two remote control boxes, a key cabinet and a telephone handset are against the inboard bulkhead.
