The photographer is in the A/S and 4.5 inch metadyne room between 73 and 78 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking aft from forward showing a wooden bench in the foreground with the metadyne Mk. 19 beyond it and on the raised platform is a change over switch box with fuse panels against the ship's side. An axial flow fan and trunking are against the aft bulkhead. A junction box, a fuse panel, an amplifier, a fuse panel, a semi circular change over switch and a large fuse panel with a control wheel are against the inboard bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
