A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Mongolia (1923) in Samnangerfjord at Tysse, Norway. She is stationary but is not at anchor or moored. Two of the ship's lifeboats are in the water and the port quarter boat is swung out and suspended in its falls. One of the lifeboats is in the foreground and a crew member is standing on the transom board. The ship's hull is slightly obscured by light smoke. A vertical format negative that is slightly out of focus. Negative number P83997 was taken on the same occasion.
