A port broadside view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montcalm (1921) at anchor, probably at Funchal, Madeira.
A slightly distant port broadside view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montcalm (1921) at anchor, probably at Funchal, Madeira. She is dressed overall and an accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door aft. The photographer is looking seaward from the shore and a number of small craft are in the foreground. In the background on the right and seen from just ahead of her port beam is the Union-Castle Line passenger liner Carnarvon Castle (1926). The counter stern of an unknown passenger liner is on the left of the picture. Negative number P84002 was taken in the same location.
