The former British Power Boat Co Ltd boatyard at Hythe, Hampshire

The former boatyard of the British Power Boat Co. Ltd. The company was formed 30 September 1927 to use R Kemp's Hythe Boatyard which Hubert-Scott Paine had purchased in the same year. The British Power Boat Company became a limited liability company in June 1938 and was liquidated in 1947. In 1989 the site was occupied by Dreamland Electric Blanket Company. This is a view of the buildings and car park fronting Dibden Shore Road. In the car park are two Vauxhall Cavaliers D475 HHV and F50 RLC and a Rover 820 Fastback F99 SPR.
