The swimming pool and lido area on the aft end of the promenade deck on board the former Cunard passenger liner Queen Elizabeth (1940) which is berthed at Port Everglades, Florida, as a tourist attraction. The photographer is on the starboard side looking forward and to port showing the empty swimming pool with a safety net spread over it. The lido and swimming pool were installed during the ship's final refit in 1965 to March 1966 in the vain hope that it would make her fit for cruising. A few visitors are sitting in the veranda area.
