The Battle of the Glorious First of June, 1794; rough sketch of the 'Defence' (see back also)

A study of the 74-gun 'Defence' from off her starboard quarter, with annotations (including the name from her stern) and colour notes, on a cream laid paper apparently watermarked with a crowned GR, within a wreath in a circle.
