A schooner and brig aground near Swansea
A quarter plate size salted paper print. A port bow view of a schooner dried out with a brig aground off its starboard broadside. The brig has its fore and main topsails set, hanging limply, probably drying. Its lower yard foresail has been clewed up untidily.
The over-exposed nature of the negative, resulting in the hulls appearing very dark has been partially corrected in the printing process.
The original negative for this original print is P33CAL.
