A salted paper print. A view from the quayside looking towards the East Pier of Kingstown (now Dun Laoghaire) Harbour. Alongside the quay is an unidentified steam paddle packet ship. Another is moored in the harbour in the distance off the port bow along with a few other sail and steam vessels.
Reverse has been annotated in pencil by Admiral Ballard in 1934: '(Admiralty Steam Packets)'.
