Specification (building) Black Prince (1861)

A handwritten and ilustrated copy of the original building specification for Black Prince (1861), a broadside ironclad frigate.

The annotation on the front page: "Devonport Yard, 3rd September 1875 / Noted and returned observing that the informaiton required has been copied / Alexander Moore, Chief Constructor", indicates that this was sent for the refit of the Black Prince in 1874-5 at Devonport Dockyard where the ship gained a poop deck.
