Thermostat, controlled by double mercury thermometer graduated from 70 - 90 degrees F. Mounted on a wooden base and protected by a wire frame.

Inscribed on the thermometer glass: 'Short and Mason 8-inch Immersion London 57769'

The company of SunVic Controls began in 1933 and was based at Aldwych, London. They specialised in electrical heat controls, switches and relays. Electro-Methods Ltd was based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
