Sample napkin with the monogram of the Orient Line
A sample napkin with the monogram of the Orient Line. The mongram depicts a coat of arms flanked by a lion on the left and a marsupial on the right with the words "PAR NON LEONINA SOCIETAS" written underneath the coat of arms. The words "ORIENT COMPE, STEAM NAVIGATION" are written underneath the motto. There is a decorative floral border with three suns embroidered on each side of the napkin. The top and bottom edges of the napkin are slightly frayed. A paper ticket is attached to the napkin and gives details of its maunufacture.
