A starboard near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary oiler Easedale (1941) under way bound out from Portsmouth. She is loaded and has her wartime gun tubs but the guns have been removed. Her master at the time was Emil Edward Sigwart RFA (appointed 24 January 1954 to 16 September 1954. A copy negative of a Wright & Logan photographic print.
