A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary water tanker Spa (1941) under way in Scottish coastal waters. She is armed with a 12 pdr and two single 20 mm anti-aircraft guns and has two chipchase rafts abaft her foremast. She was based in Scapa flow throughout the war but did voyage as far as the Clyde and the Forth. The precise location and date are unknown. A copy negative of a Crown copyright photographic print.
