A starboard near broadside view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) at anchor, probably at one of the Atlantic Islands.
A starboard near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) at anchor, probably at one of the Atlantic Islands (Cape Verde, Azores, Canary Islands). Her starboard anchor is deployed and she is dressed overall. An accommodation ladder is rigged at the shell door aft and a large number of local bumboats heaped with wares, including wickerwork, are close alongside her hull. Two unidentified ships are in the left background.
