A seaman on board the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) during fog. The seaman is standing on the quarterdeck by the ensign staff and is holding a large triangle and a striker. The photographer is on the port side of the deck looking to starboard. the negative is captioned 'Fog' and the triangle is presumably used for sounding fog signals when the ship is anchored.
