A crew member playing a trumpet on board the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922).

A crew member playing a trumpet on board the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922). He is standing on the poop deck aft looking to starboard and one of the ship's lifebuoys is leaning against the poop rail. The man is a senior rate with a white, high collared jacket, white trousers and a peaked cap and is seen from off of his left side. He is probably a senior steward and may be calling the passengers to the restaurant/dining rooms for lunch as the sun is overhead. The ship's ensign staff is in the background. A vertical format negative. Negative number P84030 is another view of the same man.
