The photographer is looking down from the port side horn showing one of the crew standing on a mooring buoy connecting a wire strop to the buoy's mooring chains. Two other men have used knotted ropes to climb down to the buoy. Negatives numbers P99801 to P99847 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
