A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the boom defence vessel Barbain (1940) working off Sembawang, Singapore. Her pendant number is P201, her crest is displayed on her funnel and she has a three flag hoist and the daymark for being at anchor on her port yardarm. The 'not under control' daymark is displayed on the starboard side of the mast. She has a slight list to starboard and is hauling in a heavy mooring chain over her bow. Negatives numbers P99801 to P99847 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
