In the control room on board the United States Navy nuclear powered submarine Scorpion (1959) in the Firth of Clyde. The photographer is looking into the port forward corner showing the helmsman in his seat. In the interests of security some of the instruments have leather covers over them. Negatives numbers PM7455/1A to PM7460/37A inclusive were taken on the same day.
