On board the Royal Navy type 81 general purpose frigate Ashanti (1959) under way on the Thames heading upstream from Gravesend to the Pool of London. The photographer is on the starboard side of the aft end of the flight deck looking aft and to port showing the quarterdeck 4.5 inch gun, the foxer winch, the towed decoy and the ensign staff. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers PM7461/12A to PM7464/35A inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
