A slightly distant port side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) anchored off Merok in Geirangerfjord, Norway.
A slightly distant port side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) anchored off Merok in Geirangerfjord, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed, she is dressed overall and an accommodation ladder is rigged at the shell door aft. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on the foremast and her bow is just out of the picture. Two of the ship's boats, the carvel motor lifeboat number 12 and a clinker built boat are approaching the landing slip at Merok. They are lashed together and are fully laden with passengers. A small fishing boat registered N-10-SN is anchored just offshore on the right.
