A starboard near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) stopped in an unknown location. She is dressed overall, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the shell door aft and a large number of local bumboats are alongside her. She is not displaying the anchor ball daymark. Although the location is not given it is likely to be at one of the Atlantic Islands - Cape Verde, Canary or Azores Islands.
