A close port quarter view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) anchored in Gibraltar Bay.
A close port quarter view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922) anchored in Gibraltar Bay. A number of passengers are lining the rails and wind scoops are fitted to some of the portholes. The photographer is in a boat approaching the ship from off the port quarter and a large passenger tender is secured alongside the ship's aft shell door. A number of small local rowing boats are in the foreground and in the left background is the hulk of a former merchant ship. The Montclare's stern and the top of her second funnel are out of the picture.
